HUGE helpings of food. Come Hungry. Pancakes cover your plate. Hash browns super crispy!! Hot Wing are great! Onion rings are FANTASTIC.

Great food! Their homemade chips are alright, I preferred there fries. Very clean place, bathrooms always clean. Quality and quantity of food is great for the price you pay. Just wished they could serve you outside.

Incredible. We stop here on our way to and from Moab or Goblin Valley--every time. Sometimes it's the best part of the trip--haha. The greek hash browns (not sure of the official name--potatoes, feta cheese, sausage, etc.) is incredible. Comes with a gigantic pancake. My kids love this place as much as I do. I've been there on a weekend evening and the had live music (again, stopped on the way to and from an day trip mountain-biking the mini grand canyon: yes, ate there twice in one day and it was totally worth it).

Solid 4 Star. Something for everyone.

My wife and I visited Helper and enjoyed the museum and the history of helper. We had a pleasant experience until we attempted to eat at the Balance Rock Eatery & Pub. When we walked in we were told to sit anywhere. It wasn't busy so we chose a table near the bar. The server took our drink order. She brought us some water and left us with the menu. We sat there ready to order for another 25 minutes. We watched other patrons come into the eatery, order and receive their food all before us who had been sitting there waiting. It seemed the employees were more interested in their own stories than serving their customers. I was really looking forward to eating there but they never gave us the opportunity. I suppose that they don't need every customer who walks in there. It must be nice being so financially secure that you can turn away business. I just landed a contract in Helper and will be travelling there many times during the year. I am always looking for good places to eat while travelling too bad this wont be one of them.

The food was incredible. HUGE portions. I got a pancake as my side and it was enormous. Like the pancake could have been a meal in itself. It was a fun atmosphere, located in what looked like an old saloon. It's right on main street in Helper and is actually quite scenic. Our waitresses were great and very helpful. I liked that you could get breakfast all day, because breakfast food is the greatest.
